Another Store!

One of my favorite photos.

I found another place to display my designs.  In*fu*sion Boutique in Palmer, AK.  If you have not gone into Palmer lately, GO!  They are really working hard to revamp main street and make it shopper friendly.  I ate at Turkey Red the other day and visited all the shops in the mini mall.  Great stores.  Stop by the Boutique and ask for 3 Dog Designs!

Thanks for your support!

Christmas shopping in full force...

Wow, what a busy time of year.  Just participated in a bazaar in Eagle River!!!  Forgot to take pictures, but had a great time.  Sold scarf knots by the dozen.  I designed these this summer with Zaynab.  I like to call them scarf jewelry.

Time to get out and get shopping!  Christmas is around the corner.  If you are looking for a great place to go this weekend and get ALL your shopping done, stop by Knitting Grounds!  There will be 7 vendors on December 13th between 10am-4pm.  I will be there selling glass jewelry.  Stop by and spend some time with incredible artists.

Happy Holidays!

Lily and Webster

In memory of the Worldwide Webster

Well, a very sad day for sure. Blythmores World Wide Webster passed yesterday. He had a bad disk in his neck and it was putting pressure on his spinal cord. He was in a lot of pain. Andy and I had to put him down. He is knocking down trash cans and eating as much food as he wants in doggy heaven now. It was a hard decision to make, but I know that he lived a long 13 wonderful years and had a pretty plush life for a dog. This post is to dedicated to him. Thanks for all the wonderful years.
Love your family

Boy time sure does fly

It has been so long since I blogged. I knew that when I started this, it would be hard to update, just like the website. Things have been going well. I am now in another store. Wild Celery in Seldovia. I have two First Fridays this fall. My first is August 1st at Katie Sevigney Studios and the second is at Fiddleheads in Homer on September 5th. You are all invited to come and share these exciting times with me!

More to come.....

Well, I sent more things to Homer and sold them on the spot.  I got a email from Katie and she mentioned that things are selling downtown.  It is starting!  I am going to take one day a week this spring and work on the business.  I have scheduled a jewelry party May 9th.  I am sending and evite tonight and if you are not listed on my evites, send me your email and you will be added immediately.  I am hoping to have a jewelry party in Homer June 7th.  If you are interested in hosting a jewelry party, I would love to come to your city and show off the goods.  There are some new photos of things I have made.  Promise I will get new photos of the latest greatest goods soon.

Forgot I had a blog!

I got a bunch of emails today about my blogging.  I am failing miserably.  I need to remember to check it at least weekly.  I got a lot of good feedback and I sure appreciate it. Attached are some photos of projects I have worked on.  First my "infamous scarf knots".  Use them to embellish your knitted scarf.  Second photo are some pendants that I have made.  I have made a bunch since and like better.  I will do my best to get those photos on my blog.

Spring is coming slowly and I have the bug.  Ready to plant and be outside.  Makes it hard to be inside by the kiln, but have to make things happen!  Keep comin back for more......

Time to get with it

It snowed again yesterday.  Tried to get to my other job, Alaska Accounting Solutions, Inc., and was turned away.  They highway was packed with traffic and I said "I am going home!"  I thought that maybe I would work on my glass business, but I am not motivated right now.  I did download a book on making your home business a party business.  Kind of like Pampered Chef, Tastefully Simple, Cookie Lee......I am going to read it and see.  I am not sure if going to all these places trying to sell my stuff is the best way to get it OUT THERE.  Time to get motivated tho.  I did get a positive comment on my website today.  They love the Dog (Lily) on the first page.  I sure love getting comments and ideas, so keep them comin!

Few days gone by....

So I went to a few places last week and they want my jewelry!!  I need to get with it.  Update photos on the website, basically marketing stuff, which is the part I hate! I ran into a fan at First Friday.  I gave her my business card  and she said "Oh, I bought one of your scarf thingys!"  It was very cool.  I am enjoying the creating process, but not the selling process.  I need to figure out how to put things on the website and maintain it.  I am not very good at that.  Well, back to work.

Starting a BLOG!

I never thought I would be doing this, starting a blog!  I talked to a lot of people and they mentioned that this is a great way to show the world my new hobby/business.  I dabble in fused glass and am having a blast.  I love it.  I love all the cool things you can do with glass.  I would love to hear thoughts, ideas, marketing advice and oohs and awes!  Thanks for visiting.
